LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The No. 12 Gonzaga Bulldogs (30-3, 16-2) are West Coast Conference champions for the final time.
The Zags beat the likely tournament-bound No. 3-seeded Santa Clara Broncos (26-8, 15-3), 79-68 behind a fantastic all-around team performance.
Mario Saint-Supery led GU with 21 points shooting 50% from the field and hitting a career-high six threes. Tyon Grant-Foster shot an efficient 7-11, scoring 20 points and hauling in seven rebounds.
Graham Ike didn’t miss a shot, playing every minute of the game and most his production coming in the second-half surge to take the lead after trailing most of the first 30 minutes of the game.
ESPN projects the Zags as a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and we’ll find out the exact seeding on Sunday’s Selection Show at 3:00 p.m. on CBS.
