SPOKANE, Wash. – The No. 12 Gonzaga Bulldogs (24-2, 12-1) showed no mercy to the Washington State Cougars (11-16, 6-8) tonight, 83-53.
Gonzaga earns their largest margin of victory over WSU since 2003, and they earn their largest WCC win since beating LMU by 35 in early January.
Graham Ike led all scorers with 20 points on 8/10 shooting, adding four perfect free throws. David Fogle jolted off the bench with 17 points on 8/11 shooting, including a thunderous first-half dunk.
The Zags had 13 steals, forced 21 WSU turnovers and turned them into 31 points. GU also outrebounded Wazzu 37-21.
Gonzaga next has one of their toughest tests of the year: at the Santa Clara Broncos this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Washington State looks to snap a three-game losing streak when they host the Pacific Tigers next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
