SPOKANE, Wash. — A 10-year-old girl and her father who were detained by border patrol agents in Spokane last month have been released from a detention facility, according to Latinos en Spokane.
“Karla and her father are heading home to Spokane!” Latinos en Spokane said in a social media post on Saturday.
The organization said it had been working with the family on an active immigration case and valid documentation when they were detained.
