SPOKANE, Wash. — Labor Day is coming up and you’ll need to know what’s closed and what’s open for the holiday around town.
In the city of Spokane, you can expect your garbage, recycling, and yard waste pick up to be a day late and the Waste to Energy Facility will be closed.
Spokane City Hall and other city facilities such as libraries and the municipal court.
Good news for people heading into downtown as on-street paid meters and kiosks will not require payment! However, parking rules like time limits will still apply.
While the city aquatic centers are closed for the season, splash pads are open.
If you’re looking for other activities Monday, golf courses are open, Pig Out in the Park will be happening, and the Spokane Symphony will have a free Labor Day concert at Comstock Park at 6 p.m.
