KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office says it’s changing how legal mail is received at the jail facility.
The sheriff’s office says legal mail can no longer be delivered to the front desk and must be sent through the U.S. Postal Service.
KCSO says this is in response to recent overdoses at the jail. It adds procedures for non-legal mail has not changed.
