SPOKANE, Wash – Federal prosecutors have charged a woman in Spokane with threatening to kill an FBI agent and his family over work he was doing in Minnesota.
The Minneapolis office of the FBI posted about the accusations on Twitter/X, saying the woman left three “disturbing voicemails” threatening to kill the FBI agent, his wife and his child.
The post did not name the woman, but federal court documents identify her as Brenna Doyle.
She’s charged with threatening to murder a federal law enforcement officer, threatening to murder immediate family members of a federal law enforcement officer and transmitting online threats to injure a federal law enforcement officer.
The criminal complaint filed in the District of Minnesota said the threats were made on January 16th. Doyle was booked into the Spokane County Jail on Sunday.
Doyle is scheduled to be back in federal court for a detention hearing Wednesday.
