MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. — Dry grass and brush caused a small fire in Medical Lake on Sunday.
According to Spokane County Fire District 3, firefighters responded to a brush fire near Tule Pond on Sunday.
The fire burned about one acre before firefighters were able to get it contained.
“While fire season is still several months away, this incident serves as an important reminder that dry grass and brush from last season remain a fire risk,” Fire District 3 said.
