STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — A Spokane Tribal Police officer was cut on their face while assisting during an incident in Stevens County Sunday night.
According to Spokane Tribal Police, the officer was dispatched to an area by Corkscrew Canyon near Long Lake.
Police say the 21-year-old suspect was tasered multiple times but the taser was ineffective.
A fight broke out and the officer was cut on the face.
The suspect was tasered again multiple times before being arrested.
The officer received stitches and is expected to recover.
