STOCKTON, Calif. – The Washington State Cougars (4-18, 3-6) return to the loss column tonight, hampered by a poor second half at the Pacific Tigers (8-11, 3-5).
The game didn’t see its first basket until five minutes into the first quarter, and WSU shooting 30% from the field and 20% from deep didn’t help.
Wazzu finished the first half on a strong noted down just one point but fell behind by eight in the third quarter.
WSU next plays at the Santa Clara Broncos this Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
