SPOKANE, Wash. — A box truck struck a low-clearance bridge late Wednesday, damaging the top of the vehicle and blocking part of the roadway.
Officials said the 13-foot-tall truck attempted to pass under an 11-foot clearance bridge at the intersection of West 16th Avenue and US-195.

The westbound lane exiting the highway was blocked, while the eastbound lane remained open.
The bridge is part of the Fish Lake Trail and connects West Spokane to Queen Lucas Lake.
The crash marks the third vehicle in four days to strike a low-clearance bridge in Spokane County.
No injuries were reported.
