HAYDEN, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for battery at a home in Hayden early Monday morning.
According to KCSO, deputies were dispatched to a home around 3 a.m. for a reported stabbing and the suspect still armed with a knife.
Deputies located 23-year-old Andrew Trump of Cave Junction, Oregon and determined Trump and a victim got into an argument when Trump got a knife and stabbed them.
KCSO says the victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. A witness tried intervening and was cut on the finger. That person was treated at the scene.
Trump was arrested for aggravated battery and booked into jail.
