ATLANTA – The Seattle Seahawks dominated after halftime, cruising to a 37-9 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
The game was 6-6 at halftime, but the Seahawks flipped the script after the break. A 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Rashid Shaheed immediately swung momentum in Seattle’s way.
Quarterback Sam Darnold bounced back from early struggles to throw three second-half touchdown passes and Jaxon Smith-Njigba hauled in two of them.
Defensively, Seattle suffocated Atlanta, causing multiple turnovers and even a blocked field goal, leaving the Falcons unable to find any rhythm.
The Seahawks improved to 10-3 on the season, their next game will be in Seattle on Sunday December 14 at 1:25 p.m. when they host the Indianapolis Colts.
