SPOKANE, Wash. – For the second straight week, Lauren Whittaker has earned the West Coast Conference women’s basketball freshman of the week honor.
Whittaker posted standout numbers in the Coconut Hoops Tournament, averaging 25 points.
In the Bulldogs’ latest win over the Marquette Golden Eagles, she recorded 23 points and 13 boards, her second career double double of the season.
Gonzaga hosts Grand Canyon University on Thursday December 7 at 6 p.m.
