SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga men’s basketball team moved up one spot to #12 in the new AP Poll Monday morning. The Zags moved up two spots in the coach’s poll to #10 following a dominating win over Southern Utah 122-50 last week.
Gonzaga plays Alabama tonight at 6:30 in Las Vegas in the Players Era Championship. They’ll play unranked Maryland tomorrow.
Alabama is now ranked 8th in the AP poll, and 9th in the Coaches Poll.
Purdue remains the #1 team in the country.
Michigan State made the biggest leap in the polls after beating Kentucky last Tuesday. The Spartans are now 11th and 12th in the respective polls.
