SPOKANE, Wash. — The Downriver Grill on Northwest Boulevard, which opened in 2003, is up for sale. The co-owners wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday afternoon:
“After much consideration and heartfelt gratitude to our community, Jonathan and Aaron have made the incredibly difficult decision to list Downriver Grill for sale. Our last day of service will be Saturday, December 20th. From our first day, the goal was simple; to create a place where people could gather, laugh, and share great food and drink. Thanks to all of you, we have done exactly that. Your support, friendship, and loyalty over the last 20 + years have meant more than we can ever express.”
The owners say they’ll offer special throw-back and popular menu items these last few weeks and reminisce on the good times we’ve shared.
The group owns The Flying Goat and Republic Pi as well but says the ‘sale/closure applies only to Downriver Grill and does not affect the other restaurants in the group.’ You can see their full post here.
