We’re playing out the last couple of days of nice weather before wetter, colder conditions arrive to end the weekend.
Plan your Friday
The low clouds from this morning will erode away from the southeast to the northwest throughout the afternoon. We’ll have a nice finish to Friday with sunshine and temperatures in the 40s.
What We’re Tracking
Wet weather crosses the Cascades and into our area on Saturday night, leading up to a dynamic cold front on Sunday evening. This front will lead to winter travel conditions beginning Sunday night. Local mountain passes will see light to moderate snow through Monday morning. Gusty winds are expected with the front, so it will be a blustery Monday.
A potentially more impactful system returns late Tuesday night into Wednesday, one that could bring the first lowland snow of the season to many communities. Take some time this weekend to make sure you’re ready for the possibility of winter driving conditions next week and beyond.
