This April, a crack started appearing between the two large stems of the 78-year-old tree.
City arborists said the tree could not be made safe and it has to be removed for safety reasons.
Spokane Parks and Recreation is asking you to take a single-question survey to help determine what to do with the willow tree and the area it occupied.
You can take the survey here.
