PULLMAN, Wash – Five students at Washington State University have been diagnosed with whooping cough.
Whitman County Public Health says the students have been told to isolate until they complete five days of antibiotics.
The health department says there is no outbreak in the greater Pullman community right now, but people should be aware that the virus is circulating.
Symptoms begin like a regular cold and develop into a bad cough.
