PULLMAN, Wash. — Leaf collection is getting ready to begin in Pullman next week.
Residential leaf collection will start on Pioneer Hill on Nov. 10, 12 and 13. Military Hill residents will have their leaves picked up on Nov. 14, 17 and 18. For Sunnyside Hill, pick up dates are Nov. 19, 20 and 21. Finally, College Hill will have leaves picked up Nov. 24, 26 and 26.
The city of Pullman says to please rake leaves into the street next to the curb up to two days before the scheduled collection in your area. Make sure to leave space between the curb and the leaf pile and park cars in legal off-street parking during the dates crews come to collect in your area.
Do not bag the leaves, do not put anything other than leaves in the pile and don’t rake leaves over storm drains or in front of fire hydrants.
