ROCKFORD, Wash. — Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph C. Bohlman, 45, Thursday when a Rockford resident found him inside her parked car, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Bohlman faces charges of criminal trespass, two counts of vehicle prowling and possession of a controlled substance following the Oct. 23 incident near the intersection of 1st Street and D Street, deputies said.
The homeowner called 911 around 12:30 p.m. Deputies arrived within minutes and detained Bohlman, who matched the caller’s description, according to the sheriff’s office.
Bohlman told deputies he walked from Plummer, Idaho, to meet a woman he contacted online but went to the wrong house, the sheriff’s office said. He waited inside what he thought was her vehicle.
Deputies found 14.7 grams of a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl during his arrest, according to the sheriff’s office.
Bohlman was booked into jail and released the next day.
