SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Showdown brought 25 teams and more than 250 athletes to HUB Sport Center over the weekend for the West Coast’s largest wheelchair basketball tournament.
ParaSport Spokane and Providence Saints hosted the event, which featured teams from the Pacific Northwest, Utah and California competing across five divisions.
Competition ran Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and continued Sunday.
The tournament showcased athletes of all ages and skill levels in what organizers called the largest edition of the annual event.
