Some mountain sprinkles in North Idaho this afternoon will be a sneak preview of a wet weekend ahead. If you’re making plans outdoors, Saturday looks like the better day to do so.
What We’re Tracking
Friday will be breezy with a few mountain showers in the afternoon. These sprinkles are most likely in North Idaho near the Montana state line. Highs will be similar to the last few days in the 50s and low 60s.
Saturday will start cold again with lows in the 20s and low 30s. Patchy fog is likely where we’ve been seeing it lately in valley bottoms. Most of the day is dry, but rain will begin in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area after 5 p.m. and last through the night.
Sunday will start off wet in the early morning and then see scattered showers for much, if not all, of the day. It won’t be constantly raining like it will for most of Saturday night, but you should be ready for wet weather to pop up at any moment. It will also be windy with strong gusts over 30 mph in Eastern Washington.
