SPOKANE, Wash. — Avista is planning to do some rock relocation at the Monroe Street Dam requiring a road closure in downtown.
On Friday, Spokane Falls Boulevard will be closed between Post Street and Lincoln Street from 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Street parking will also be closed.
Spokane Falls Blvd. will also be reduced to two lanes between Post and Stevens Street.
Traffic control personnel will be out helping direct traffic.
The closures are for a crane assembly to move gravel and cobble that accumulated at the Monroe Street Dam.
