SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A 64-year-old man from Spokane was killed in a single-car crash Tuesday night in Spokane Valley, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers identified the driver as Theodore Dickerson. The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. near Trent Avenue and Barker Road.
WSP said Dickerson was driving eastbound on Trent Avenue when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a rock wall. He died at the scene. Troopers said he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Investigators believe drugs may have been a factor.
As of 8 p.m., troopers remained on scene, and drivers were advised to expect delays in the area.
The crash remains under investigation.
