Early morning snow tangled drivers on Highway 97 Monday morning, forcing the closure of Blewett Pass.
WSDOT posted pictures of a snow plow blocking the snow-covered road.
As of 8 am, the road was closed with no estimated time of reopening.
The National Weather Service predicted 8-12″ inches to fall on the pass between 5 pm Sunday and 11 am Monday.
The pass was closed just last week because of a wildfire.
