SPOKANE, Wash. — The Bureau of Land Management is lifting fire restrictions in Washington on Tuesday afternoon.
Restrictions were lifted at 12:01 p.m. on Tuesday.
BLM says this is partially because of recent cooler, wetter weather reducing fire danger levels.
While fire restrictions were lifted on BLM land, people are still encouraged to continue exercising caution when operating motor vehicles on roads or trails with tall grass.
BLM says to make sure all campfires are completely extinguished and cold before leaving a campsite.
Fireworks and exploding targets are still prohibited at any time on federal public lands.
