SPOKANE, Wash. — The city of Spokane is encouraging everyone to participate in the Week Without Driving challenge next week.
This challenge takes place from Monday, September 29 to Sunday, October 5.
The city says this challenge hopes to give people the chance to experience the city without driving a car to help create better a active transportation and public transit network.
“You can walk, you can bike, you can take STA, you can go with friends and try this week with us,” Mayor Lisa Brown said.
