Gonzaga releases WCC schedules for both men’s and women’s teams

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga Bulldogs men’s and women’s basketball teams learned their final WCC schedules before their Pac-12 move next season.

The WCC enters a new scheduling system this season, playing conference games on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays instead of just Thursdays and Saturdays. Several men’s games are still not nailed down as those dates will depend on national broadcast time slots through ESPN and CBS.

The men’s slate highlights include hosting Saint Mary’s on Jan. 31 and traveling to end their WCC slate on Feb. 28, traveling to Washington State on Jan. 13-15, and then hosting the Cougs on Feb. 10-12.

For the women’s side, they open their season at home against LMU and Pepperdine at the end of December, and then only play rivals Saint Mary’s once, a home game on Feb. 26. GU travels to WSU on Jan. 31 and then hosts Wazzu on Feb. 19.
