CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — Police arrested a man who robbed a bank in Wenatchee on Friday, according to Wenatchee Police Department.
On September 12 around 5 p.m., WPD responded to a reported robbery at Cashmere Valley Bank near Maple Street and Princeton Avenue.
The caller told police a man had passed a note to a bank employee and demanded “everything.”
The man then ran off with the cash.
Through an investigation with Columbia River Drug Task Force, WPD identified the robbery suspect as 42-year-old Camron Gaunt of Lake Stevens, Washington.
Gaunt also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the U.S. Marshal’s Office.
Gaunt’s photo was distributed to several other banks in the area.
On September 16, East Wenatchee Police Officers received a call from an employee at People’s Bank who had seen Gaunt.
When officers responded, Guant attempted to run, but he was soon arrested.
He was booked into Chelan County Regional Justice Center on his outstanding warrant. The robbery investigation is ongoing.
