MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man with a gunshot wound to the foot earlier this month in Moses Lake, according to Moses Lake Police Department.
Around 9 p.m. on September 6, MLPD responded to a report of shots fired near Broadway Avenue and Lee Street in Moses Lake.
When they arrived, officers found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the foot. He received medical treatment for his injury.
Officers determined a physical altercation had taken place, during which, one involved person took out a gun and fired several rounds.
Detectives did not find a suspect at the scene, but did determine a person of interest.
Three days later, a 21-year-old man turned himself into MLPD after learning the department was looking for him. MLPD said the investigation is ongoing and there are no other suspects in the shooting.
This is a developing story.
