COLFAX, Wash. — The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office identified a suspect connected to a break-in and attempted theft of an ATM in Uniontown last month.
42-year-old Eric B. Wright was identified as the suspect. Deputies tracked Wright to a home in Longview, where they found a stolen black Dodge Challenger that matched the one used in the break-in.
Investigations also led to the discovery of another stolen vehicle and stolen trailer at a property where Wright was living in Western Washington.
Wight is currently facing charges in Whitman and Latah Counties for unrelated cases and federal charges for a property crime spree dating back to early 2024.
The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation into this case is ongoing.
