U.S. Representative from Washington Michael Baumgartner released a statement asking for prayers for political activist Charlie Kirk after he was shot at an event in Utah on Wednesday afternoon.
On Wednesday, conservative political activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Representative Baumgartner tweeted about the shooting, describing it as “terrible.”
