SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Valley Fire Department is battling a large fire at the Avista Stadium Friday morning.
According to firefighters, the fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. at a concessions stand. The building that caught fire is a total loss.
Firefighters say roads are closed in front of the stadium, and the scene may impact people heading to the Spokane County Fair Friday. The public should avoid the area.
