MOSCOW, Idaho – With tonight’s second and final scrimmage in the books, the Idaho Vandals close their fall camp eager for the challenge ahead in Week 1.
Idaho focused primarily on their second-string QB Sawyer Teeney and let starter Josh Wood only on a handful of drives.
The Vandals face the Washington State Cougars in Pullman in just 11 days, and head coach Tom Ford expresses both his and his team’s excitement to play against a local FBS opponent.
“Our guys are physical we are out here playing like a game almost every single practice, especially when our ones are going against our ones and our twos are going against our twos,” coach Ford said. “So I think that they’ve done a phenomenal job this fall camp just really setting the standard for physicality.”
Kickoff for the Vandals and Cougs is Saturday, August 30 at 7:00 p.m.
