SPOKANE, Wash. — A water main break at the intersection of North Division Street and Hawthorne Road on Thursday afternoon is causing traffic delays.
According to The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), flooding began around 12:31 p.m.
WSDOT said in addition to the closure of Hawthorne Road east of the intersection, the right lane of north bound Division Street is closed.
This is likely to remain in place until sometime tonight while crews work to repair the water main break.
Drivers should expect significant delays and use alternative routes during peak travel hours.
