SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash — Eastbound I-90 is closed at Sullivan Road for a fatal crash.
According to Spokane Regional Traffic Management, a pedestrian was reported on the freeway around 9 a.m. near the Flora Road exit.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a driver crashed into a pole on the freeway. When the person exited their vehicle, they were hit by a semi-truck and killed.
A detour has been set up on Sullivan Road for drivers needing to go eastbound on I-90. WSP says to exit Sullivan and head north toward Trent Avenue. Turn right on Trent and drive to Barker Road, then head south to the I-90 interchange.
