SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. — A mudslide covered a section of State Route 20 in the North Cascades on Sunday following rainfall, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
WSDOT said the mudslide has covered up approximately 100-feet and will take at least two days to clean up.
The closure is southeast of Diablo Lake between mile markers 148-157 and inside the Easy Fire closure.
Crews are working to clear the debris and conditions will be revaluated Wednesday, August 14.
