SPOKANE, Wash. — Children seeking treatment and their families now have a beautiful new lobby to enjoy at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital!
On Thursday, Providence announced the unveiling of it’s newly renovated Children’s Hospital lobby.
After months of construction, the new lobby features a dedicated welcome desk, modern lighting, colorful kid-friendly furniture and Spokane-themed wall murals.
The $398,000 project was funded through Children’s Miracle Network donors and partners.
“It was important to foster a space where kids can find comfort, joy and a sense of normalcy in the hospital,” said Dr. Mike Barsotti, chief administrative officer. “When children see vibrant colors and playful designs, it helps alleviate anxiety and fear. These environments stimulate imagination and provide emotional support – essential elements of pediatric care.”
