BROOKLYN, N.Y. – In the 2025 NBA Draft, the Portland Trailblazers selected Cedric Coward with the 11th pick overall, but will likely be traded to the Grizzlies.
Coward is the first Coug to go in the first round since Klay Thompson was drafted to the Warriors in 2011.
He will be the fifth former Cougar in the NBA joining Thompson, Jaylen Wells, Issac Jones and Mouhamed Gueye.
