COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — If you’re looking for an exciting way to get outside, check out North Idaho College’s first-ever Color Fun Run later this summer!
The event will be held on August 23, with check-in beginning at 10 a.m. Participants will run or walk through a course where they will be doused with washable cornstarch color powder, creating colorful clouds along the way!
“We are really excited to be able to invite the community to this event,” said Elli Michael, NIC Marketing and Events Coordinator. “The route is gorgeous and, whether you want to walk or run, there will be plenty of fun for all ages. It’s been a few years since NIC hosted a fun run, and we’re really looking forward to participants being able to enjoy this.”
Eligible participants will also be entered into a drawing for NIC scholarships.
Registration is free for NIC students and those 18 and under; others pay $20, which includes a T-shirt, bandanna, and sunglasses. The run is untimed, and an afterparty with a live DJ and food trucks will follow.
