SPOKANE, Wash. – Only a few days after winning Northwest Player of the Week, shortstop Braylen Wimmer takes home the Player of the Month award for the month of May.
Wimmer’s tremendous month featured a .337 batting average, 17 runs, eight doubles, four home runs, 15 RBIs and 10 stolen bases.
The Oklahoma City native is the first Spokane Indians player this season to earn a Player of the Month nod.
