SPOKANE, Wash. — If you’re driving through North Spokane tomorrow morning, you’ll want to leave a little early and plan ahead to get where you’re going.
Starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday and into Friday morning, a water main repair will impact traffic along N. Newport Highway/US 2.
Travel will be reduced to one lane in each direction, northbound just north of Magnesium Road to Hoerner Street and southbound between Hoerner Street and Division Street.
Crews are expected to wrap up the work around mid-day on Friday.
The City of Spokane said drivers traveling south between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Friday should use alternative routes on N. Division/US 395 or N. Nevada Street, if possible.
Drivers should slow down and stay alert.
