MOSES LAKE, Wash. — A Moses Lake man was arrested this morning in a standoff with law enforcement at his home.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a home on Mae Valley Road near Road F-Northeast around 1:15 a.m. for reports of domestic violence and a gunshot.
Deputies say Torrey Branden is accused of assaulting his partner and firing a handgun round into his home’s deck.
Deputies, Moses Lake police, and the Regional Tactical Response Team surrounded the home. After several hours, flash bangs and tear gas were deployed.
Law enforcement was able to arrest Branden, and he was booked into the Grant County Jail. He faces charges of assault, resisting arrest, possession of a stolen firearm, and reckless endangerment.
