GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — It’s that time of year again, burn bans are going into effect in Grant County next week.
Starting June 1, residential outdoor burning will be prohibited in unincorporated Grant County due to the increased risk of wildfire.
The Grant County Fire Marshal’s Office says if you start a fire and it gets out of control, you can be held financially and possibly criminally responsible.
The burn ban will last through the end of September.
