SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Indians starting pitcher McCade Brown earned this week’s Northwest League Pitcher of the Week after a tremendous performance this past Saturday.
Brown dealt an 11-strikeout, one-hit, zero-run game in his five innings against the Tri-City Dust Devils this weekend.
The Illinois native made his High-A debut this season for Spokane, tossing the second-most strikeouts on the team with 48.
His 1.07 elite WHIP (Walks+Hits per Inning) has helped Spokane to the best WHIP in the Northwest League.
