COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d’Alene School District confirmed to KXLY Wednesday Trustee Allison “Allie” Anderton resigned from the board effective immediately.
The board’s next regular meeting will be held May 12, 2025. The board will declare the vacancy for Zone 1 and start discussions on the candidate selection process to fill the void.
Coeur d’Alene Schools released a statement, which read, in part,
“The Trustees thank Trustee Anderton for her service and dedication to our students and District 271.”
Anderton was booked in the early morning hours Sunday after being pulled over in Post Falls.
She was charged with DUI and possession of paraphernalia.
KXLY is still waiting on a response Wednesday from the Post Falls Police Department on a public records request for the police report associated with Anderton’s arrest.
