SPOKANE, Wash. — After hours investigating a deadly shooting on Spokane’s West Plains Monday, no arrests have been made.

Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies said the information they gathered indicated that the incident began as a disagreement between people who knew each other, and ended with a person being shot.
That person died at the scene.
One man was detained Monday for questioning, but was released after being interviewed by detectives.
Deputies said they were collecting evidence, doing interviews and following leads from about 2:00 p.m., when the shooting happened, until about 8:30 p.m. Monday.
The victim’s identity will be released by the Spokane County Medical Examiner.
