SPOKANE, Wash. — Both lanes of the westbound I-90 offramp to westbound Highway 2 have been opened.
According to Washington State Patrol, the westbound I-90 offramp to Garden Springs remains closed while fire units mop up the earlier brush fire

One lane of the westbound offramp from I-90 to westbound Highway 2 has been reopened.
According to Washington State Patrol the right lane of the offramp remains closed along with the offramp to Garden Springs.

A fire has forced the closure of the Garden Springs exit and the Spokane Airport exit on Interstate 90 westbound Friday afternoon.
Transportation officials closed the exit at milepost 277.26 at 3:14 p.m. on April 18, 2025.
The closure will remain in effect until further notice.
Authorities have not yet released information about the cause or extent of the fire. Emergency crews are on the scene.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the area if possible. Officials have not provided an estimated time for reopening the exit.
