SPOKANE, Wash – After one season away from home playing college basketball in Boise, former Mead Panther Teryn Gardner is coming back to Spokane to play for Gonzaga.
Gardner posted the news on X/Twitter Wednesday morning with the caption “I’m coming home.” She also referenced Proverbs 3:5-6, which says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
The freshman guard played in 32 games in her one season at Boise State.
Gardner was all-conference in all four high school seasons at Mead and was the GSL MVP her junior and senior seasons.
She was also a standout in track and soccer the class valedictorian.
