SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokanites came out to enjoy the sunshine at a local market on Wednesday.
The ICCU Spring Market at Riverfront Spokane brought together dozens of local artists, shops and food vendors for locals to explore.
“I think it’s awesome. It brings people together. you get to meet people, new people, bring your family, friends and just enjoy the day,” said Spokane resident, Steven Feldman.
Some even made the trip from out of town to attend the event.
“I have been here many times. I come stay with my aunt and it’s a lot of fun,” said Quinn Parsons.
One market vendor, Homestead Hobbies, is a mother-daughter duo that sells handmade jewelry and artwork.
“All of our things area handmade. I do the sewing and the embroidery and she does the chainmail and custom jewelry,” said Laura Kitchings.
The market was a great preview to the sunny Spokane summer ahead!
